The ideal candidate will possess associate to expert level expertise in networking concepts, with relevant certifications and experience in maintaining, securing, and troubleshooting complex networks. This role requires managing LAN/WAN networks, implementing network best practices, supporting network devices and services, and ensuring all systems are secure and up-to-date. The Network Administrator will also manage documentation and power systems, ensuring optimal functionality and uptime.
This position is contingent upon contract award.

The Network Administrator will also manage documentation and power systems, ensuring optimal functionality and uptime.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
- Understand and apply LAN and WAN concepts and methodologies
- Possess knowledge equivalent to Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and CompTIA Security+
- Stay current with networking best practices and standards
- Design, configure, and implement networks using models such as 2-Tier Model, 3-Tier Model, Spine-Leaf, SOHO, WAN, Cloud, and First Hop Redundancy
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain, splice, and terminate all copper and fiber cables across 39 IOS networks
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain switches and switching technologies, including Access Ports, Trunk Ports, VLANs (Virtual, Native, and Private), Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), MAC, CAM, and Cisco Express Forwarding (CEF)
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain routers with protocols such as: Static and Dynamic Routing, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS, and BGP
- Install, configure, and maintain firewalls to secure the network
- Configure and maintain Tactical LAN Encryptors (TACLANE) and other encryption tools
- Ensure all network systems are up to date with the latest software updates and patches
- Implement and maintain compliance with STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides)
- Manage monitoring systems, including GEM One, SolarWinds, Cisco ISE, DNA Center, and NetFlow
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain essential network services, including Cisco ISE, TACACS+/RADIUS, SSH, AAA, VPN, and Access Control Lists (ACLs)
- Manage IP address services and protocols, including DHCP, DNS, NAT, Subnetting, IPv4, and IPv6
- Configure and manage device management protocols, such as FTP, TFTP, Syslog, SNMP, SCP, NTP, CDP, and LLDP
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain telephony systems, including VoIP, VOSIP, and Analog POTS
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for all network changes, including Layer 1, 2, and 3 diagrams, Rack Elevations, and lists of Ports, Protocols, and Services
- Monitor, maintain, and replace Uninterruptable Power Systems (UPS) units and batteries as needed
- Install, configure, and maintain long-haul communication devices, such as Multiplexers, Switches, Routers, and Demarcation Points
- Perform circuit-related tasks, including procuring new circuits, maintaining circuit history folders, and submitting TSRs and TSOs
- Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor's degree or approved equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4 years of cyber and/or information technology duties and experience
- IAT/M Level II
