Inventory Clerk 

Security Clearance Required

OTA is seeking a Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Clerk who will support inventory and asset management operations, including handling shipping and receiving processes and maintaining an organized and safe storage environment. This role requires a thorough understanding of inventory and supply chain management principles and methodologies. 

This position is contingent upon contract award. 

Responsibilities 
  • Apply knowledge of supply and inventory management concepts and methodologies to daily operations
  • Utilize expertise equivalent to a Certified Inventory Management Expert (or similar certification) in handling and tracking inventory
  • Schedule Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services (DLADS) deliveries and drop-offs.
    Coordinate and collect equipment from various departments
  • Ensure all shipping documentation is accurate and complete
  • Arrange security and cybersecurity checks in coordination with the Security and Cybersecurity offices
  • Ensure equipment is packed appropriately for transport
  • Schedule recycling and hazardous material drop-offs as necessary
  • Verify that all received equipment matches the accompanying packing list
  • Coordinate security and cybersecurity checks for incoming items
  • Confirm that received equipment is properly labeled and packed according to standard procedures
  • Match incoming equipment to purchase requests and verify inventory accuracy.
    Conduct regular inventory audits and report any discrepancies, including shortages or overages
  • Ensure all assets in storage are accounted for and properly documented
  • Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free storage areas
  • Ensure all storage spaces reflect a professional appearance and adhere to safety standards
Required Qualifications
  • Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility 
  • 1 to 5 years of approved shipping, receiving, and inventory experience 
  • Supply Chain Institute Certified Inventory Management Expert
