Logistician Level 2

TS/SCI Security Clearance and Polygraph Required


OTA is seeking an experienced Logistician to procure materials and manage the supply chain at every step of the procurement process. In this role, you will provide for storage and delivery of materials and arrange transportation and shipment of materials to different locations throughout the world.  Ideal candidates will have experience that includes managing accounting processes, automated inventory control systems, and processing paperwork related to Government Bill of Lading and the DD1149.  

Responsibilities
  • Conduct inventory control to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved, or transferred
  • Complete monthly inventory reports per government guidelines
  • Maintain the Government Property Accountability System by providing entries for incoming property (Line Item Receiving Report), transferred property, and excessed property
  • Assist system developers and integrators during shipments of systems and system upgrades
  • Coordinate and perform all property accountability functions and property management functions in accordance with government guidance and industry best practices
  • Develop inventory control processes to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved, or transferred
  • Develop material handling processes for shipping, receiving, storage, and disposition of property
  • Establish program level Government Property Accountability System(s) for incoming property (Line Item Receiving Report), transferred property, and excessed property
  • Coordinate all aspects of shipments resulting from systems integration and system upgrade activities

Required Qualifications
  • TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in logistics, shipping and receiving, or property control
  • Must be Fork Lift certified
  • Must be proficient with electric pallet jack, barcoding, shrink wrapping, Agency Inventory Process, and utilizing FACTS
