Tactical Network Transport Instructor (Level 1)

Ops Tech Alliance is seeking Tactical Network Transport Instructors to deliver technical training on DoD tactical communications systems, networking fundamentals, and system troubleshooting using TRADOC compliant methodologies. Our instructors ensure students develop the technical knowledge and practical skills required to support secure, reliable, and mission-ready tactical network environments.  This position is contingent upon contract award. 

Minimum Requirements
  • Associate’s Degree in a technical or business field
    OR

  • 4+ years of instructional experience in place of a degree

Must have completed one of the following (withing last 5 years):

  • TRADOC Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC)

  • Foundation Instructor Facilitator Course (FIFC)

  • Common Faculty Development – Instructor Course (CFD-IC)

Additional required training:

  • Faculty Development Program-1 (FDP-1), if applicable

  • Installation Staff Contractor Training Course (ISCTC) or equivalent

Experience

One of the following:

  • 2+ years teaching adult learners in DoD tactical communications, military technical training, or vocational/technical programs
    OR

  • 3+ years of direct experience supporting DoD tactical communications networks

Certifications (at least one required)
  • CompTIA Network+

  • CompTIA Security+

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

  • VMware Certified Professional


Key Responsibilities
Instruction & Training
  • Teach Tactical Network Transport courses using approved lesson plans

  • Deliver classroom instruction, hands-on labs, and field training exercises

  • Apply Army Learning Model (ALM) teaching methods

  • Administer written, automated, and hands-on exams

  • Grade tests and provide student feedback

  • Conduct After Action Reviews (AARs)
