Application Developer Lead

Salary Range: $105,000 to $120,500 

Ops Tech Alliance (OTA) is seeking an Application Developer Senior Lead to support DLIFLC at the Presidio of Monterey, CA. This position serves as the lead of the DevOps Application Development/Sustainment Center of Operations and provides overall leadership of all application development and sustainment activities at DLIFLC, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to DevOps best practices, Agile methodology, SDLC, and release management.

This position is contingent upon contract award. 

Responsibilities

• Lead the application development and sustainment team across the SDLC.
• Plan, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and manage AppDev servers and applications.
• Drive DevOps, Agile, and release management practices.
• Mentor junior and senior developers; review and approve code, designs, and releases.

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS with 5+ years as an Application Developer, OR 9+ years in lieu of degree.
• Active IAT Level II certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) plus applicable CE/OS certification.
• Demonstrated team leadership experience.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps methodologies, GitLab, and Agile.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon, Microsoft, or Google cloud services.
• Required skills: .NET, Java, SQL, MySQL, VDX, IIS, HTML5, Linux, Tomcat, Apache, SharePoint, iOS development/sustainment, PHP, WordPress.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate).
• Extensive experience supporting large, highly scalable applications.
• U.S. Citizenship.


Desired Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, AWS Certified Developer, or equivalent.
• SAFe or PMI-ACP certification.
• Experience leading distributed development teams.
• Prior DoD or Army application development experience.
