IT Logistics/Supply Technician
Salary Range: $60,000 to $74,400 per year
Ops Tech Alliance (OTA) is seeking an IT Logistics/Supply Technician to support the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) at the Presidio of Monterey, CA. This role works in the Technical Distribution Center (TDC) and DCSIT Supply, issuing and receiving IT mobile devices and hardware.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
• Issue and receive IT mobile devices and hardware to and from end users.
• Perform detailed documentation and tracking of supply assets across the lifecycle.
• Manage Supply - Technical Equipment/Hardware Issuance, Supply Chain/Warehouse Operations, IT Supply Inventory and Asset Tracking.
• Provide Customer Supply Support Services and Warranty Coordination/Handling.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic audits.
Required Qualifications
• AA/AS from an accredited college or university, OR 3-4+ years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Supply Chain Management experience, with 2+ years of Asset Tracking and Management and 1+ year of Warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Forklift Operator certification (if forklift operation is required).
• Willingness to wear steel-toed boots with non-slip soles in the warehouse environment.
• U.S. Citizenship; ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Desired Qualifications
• Prior DoD or Army logistics/supply experience.
• Experience with Army Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) or GCSS-Army.
• Experience with IT asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow Asset, Snipe-IT, Ivanti Asset Manager).
