Able to help Robotic Team and Engineering with monthly and annual PM’s as well as train new robotic operators on completing daily PM’s.
 
Make minor robotic program adjustments to help with quality issues.
 
Properly recover the robot cell from any shock sensor alarms.
 
Pull and load jobs into the robotic controller as needed.
 
Understand basic robot programming fundamentals.
 
Assist with day-to-day production requirements for correctly loading and maintaining fixtures.
 
Duties for this position default to Robotic Welder and Welder job responsibilities as demand requires and/or as is determined by the Robotic Technician's manager.

Qualifications

Education & Experience/Prerequisites: • Complete DX200 Programing Basics class at MotoMan. Signup for this class will happen after shadowing period with current robotic programmers. (Class will require tuition agreement) • Able to demonstrate proficiency as an OCI robotic operator. • Must be a “B” level welder or higher at OCI. • No Active Attendance or Conduct warnings. • Strong troubleshooting a problem-solving skills. • Ability to be self-motivated to work independently as well as part of a team. • Flexibility to offer support on off shifts if needed. High school diploma or general education degree (GED), one to three years of traceable mig welding experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience, and ability to read and interpret blueprints are required. Must successfully pass 1G Qualification and blueprint skills testing.
 
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively with customers and employees of organization.
 
Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts of basic geometry. Ability to covert both metric and English measurements.
 
Reasoning Skills: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
