- Excellent communication skills including active listening.
- Customer service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
- Proficient computer and 10-key skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Ability to talk and type simultaneously.
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn medical billing and how to read an EOB.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service experience required.
- Some experience with insurance or medical billing preferred.
