  • Knowledge of basic medical insurance terminology helpful
Skills required:
  • Excellent communication skills including active listening.
  • Customer service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
  • Proficient computer and 10-key skills with the ability to learn new software.
  • Ability to talk and type simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn medical billing and how to read an EOB.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Some experience with insurance or medical billing preferred.
