Position: Bus Driver for Adults with Disabilities
Location: Concord, CA
Hours:  Part Time - Split Shift 
Monday-Friday: 8:30am - 10:30am and 1:15pm – 3:15pm
Compensation: $22 per hour (20 hours / week)
Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
Required business use of a personal cell phone is reimbursed through a semi monthly stipend.

Paid time off:
•    11 paid holidays + 1 birthday holiday
•    12 sick days per year
•    10–25 vacation days per year (based on tenure)
•    30 hours of bereavement leave
•    Up to 2 weeks of paid jury duty

Do you have experience with driving medical transport, ambulance or emergency vehicles, airport shuttles, limousines, transporting clients for appointments or outings? 

Part-time and split shift, Shuttle Bus Driver needed to work in Concord. Transport adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities from their homes to day program facility in the morning and return to program participants' homes in the afternoon.

Qualifications: 
  • Ability to read maps, be punctual, reliable and to work various hours during the day.
  • Some experience with vehicle maintenance.
  • Ability to complete transportation documentation accurately.
  • Good communication skills; ability to interact in a positive and supportive manner with riders.
  • Experience with securing wheelchairs with tie downs.
  • Ability to maintain supervision of riders to ensure safety while in transit.
Minimum requirements:
  • Class C California Driver's license
  • Good driving record
  • At least one year of continuous, verifiable experience driving for work purposes
  • Must be able to successfully complete all screenings as required by Community Care Licensing
