We are always looking for quality individuals to join our amazing team! Currently, we are actively recruiting a confident and dedicated Heavy Equipment Technician to join our West Edmonton crew.  We require an experienced technician who will maintain and repair a variety of makes/models of equipment as a key resource to help us continue to provide dependable, timely service to our customers.

The challenges we have for you:
 
  • Perform preventative maintenance and conduct routine inspections
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and make recommendations on repair options
  • Work on a variety of equipment including forklifts, loaders, skid steers, material handling equipment and heavy tractor trailer
  • Adjust equipment, and repair or replace defective parts
  • Comprehend equipment manuals, diagrams, and schematic drawings
  • Complete appropriate documentation for all service and repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Other projects and duties as assigned
     
The skills we are looking for:
 
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot a variety of equipment related issues
  • Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
  • A motivated, reliable, and punctual self-starter
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience of 2 -3 years' as a Heavy Equipment Technician
  • Journeyman, or red seal certification (preferred)
  • Position is open to 3rd or 4th year apprentices
  • CVIP experience or license is an asset
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with drivers abstract in good standing
  • Must have own tools
  • Ability to work 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, no weekends
