We require an experienced technician who will maintain and repair a variety of makes/models of equipment as a key resource to help us continue to provide dependable, timely service to our customers.

The challenges we have for you:
- Perform preventative maintenance and conduct routine inspections
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and make recommendations on repair options
- Work on a variety of equipment including forklifts, loaders, skid steers, material handling equipment and heavy tractor trailer
- Adjust equipment, and repair or replace defective parts
- Comprehend equipment manuals, diagrams, and schematic drawings
- Complete appropriate documentation for all service and repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Other projects and duties as assigned
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot a variety of equipment related issues
- Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
- A motivated, reliable, and punctual self-starter
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience of 2 -3 years' as a Heavy Equipment Technician
- Journeyman, or red seal certification (preferred)
- Position is open to 3rd or 4th year apprentices
- CVIP experience or license is an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with drivers abstract in good standing
- Must have own tools
- Ability to work 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, no weekends
