We are currently seeking a Journeyman Welder with Millwright experience to join our West Edmonton team.

We are currently seeking a Journeyman Welder with Millwright experience to join our West Edmonton team.
The challenges we have for you:
- Duties are approximately 90% repair welding and 10% new fabrication
- Ability to perform various welding techniques, including MIG or Stick, flame cutting and air arc
- Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, and grinding
- Repair of highway trailers
- Repair of large and small scrap metal bins
- Complete appropriate documentation for all service and repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Other projects and duties as assigned by Supervisor
The skills we are looking for:
- Mechanically inclined with proven experience with repairs
- Previous Millwright training and experience considered preferred
- Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
- Strong verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to work safely and maintain a safe working environment
- A motivated, reliable, and punctual self-starter
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Journeyman Welder certificate
- Fall Protection and Elevated Work Platform certification would be considered an asset
