Tillamook Works- Cosmetology and Salon Technician (Nehalem, OR)

Key Responsibilities:

Salon Assistance: Shampoo, condition, and rinse client hair; apply hair treatments under supervision.
Maintenance & Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping, dusting, folding towels, and cleaning tools to state board standards.
Client Services: Greet clients, offer refreshments, assist with booking appointments, and provide support to stylists.
Technical Learning: Observe stylists in color application, cutting, and styling; practice techniques on mannequins.
Product Knowledge: Learn about professional product lines and assist with retail displays and recommendations.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a licensed cosmetology program.
Possess or in the process of obtaining a state cosmetology or apprentice license.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Professional demeanor and a positive, team-player attitude.
Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:
