A masonry intern assists skilled masons on construction sites while learning the trade through hands-on work and supervision.
Key Responsibilities

Assist masons in laying brick, block, and stone

Mix and prepare mortar and grout

Transport and organize materials and tools on the job site

Clean and prepare work areas

Measure and cut masonry materials

Help build walls, fireplaces, chimneys, patios, and other structures

Follow construction plans and safety guidelines

Maintain tools and equipment

Basic understanding of construction tools

Ability to lift heavy materials (often 50+ lbs)
