Job Description
Trusted Space is seeking a Digital Engineering Lead to support a DoD customer, providing expertise in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and working knowledge of Cameo software to support the Mission Data Processing (MDP) thrust area. This includes, but is not limited to, developing architecture models for a crucial satellite ground system, requirements management (including full RVTM traceability), integration of lower-level MBSE models, ICD and IDD generation from Cameo, coordinating and managing working groups with external contractors, developing scripts to automate Cameo workflows, and supporting change requests and impact assessments related to MDP.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, computer science, or equivalent technical discipline
- This position requires the candidate to have an active TS/SCI security clearance
- 5+ years of systems engineering experience using Model-Based Systems Engineering tools, such as Sparx EA, MagicDraw or Cameo, DOORS, or IBM Rhapsody in support of space-related (space on-orbit, ground system, software or hardware systems) Major Defense Acquisition Programs
- Experience with automation or scripting in JavaScript, Python, or VTL
- Experience mapping system requirements to physical and functional architecture and conducting configuration management of system configurations
- Experience with the development of technical specifications, interface control documents, integration plans and schedules, inter-service support agreements, system behavior diagrams, sequence diagrams, and network diagrams
- Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews and requirements verification
- Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals
- Master’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics, or equivalent technical discipline
- 5-7 years of experience performing systems engineering analysis and developing systems engineering products for satellite systems
- Experience performing systems engineering, integration, and testing on space-based remote sensing systems (SBIRS, Next Generation OPIR, FORGE, STSS, HBTSS, DMSP, WSF-M, and EWS)
- Experience with using Model-Based Systems Engineering approaches to manage system definitions and technical baselines
- Experience with MATLAB, STK, ModelCenter, or TeamCenter
- Knowledge of Agile Methodologies
- INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional certifications (ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP)
- OMG Certified Systems Model Professional Certification
This position requires the candidate to have an active TS/SCI security clearance
Salary Range: The salary range for this role is $140,000-$190,000. Please note that this range is a general guideline and can vary.
