Job Description

Trusted Space is seeking a Senior Imaging Scientist with a Bachelor’s degree or higher with 8+ years of combined experience. This position is hybrid as it will be primarily remote but will require the willingness to commute to Chantilly, VA for onsite support.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Imaging Science, Optics, Astrophysics, or Aerospace Engineering 
  • Experience developing software in the Python programming language 
  • Experience with image processing and sensor performance modeling 
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI 

Desired Skills
  • Master’s or PhD degree in Imaging Science, Optics, Astrophysics, or Aerospace Engineering 
  • Experience developing image processing for astronomy and/or spacecraft detection 
  • Experience in modeling and simulating imagery with spacecraft 
  • Experience in CUDA Programming and opensource libraries leveraging GPUs 

Salary Range: The salary range for this role is $150,000-$200,000. Please note that this range is a general guideline and can vary. Trusted Space, Inc. considers several factors when extending an offer including, but not limited to: scope, location, position responsibilities, education/training, key skills and business considerations.
