Job Description
Trusted Space is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Integration Engineer to support the Space Development Agency (SDA) Tranche 3 Program Integration (T3PI) program. This role will serve as a primary engineering integrator across government and industry teams, with a focus on ensuring seamless interoperability and mission effectiveness of space segment systems supporting our customer’s architecture. The selected candidate will support the Systems Engineering and Integration effort for the Tranche 3 constellation, which includes hundreds of satellites accomplishing multiple mission areas including missile warning, tracking and defense, and tactical communications for warfighters. The selected candidate will work closely with the SDA, space vehicle contractors, and ground segment contractors to ensure the program architecture, requirements, implementation, integration and testing are executed successfully.

Job Description

The selected candidate will work closely with the SDA, space vehicle contractors, and ground segment contractors to ensure the program architecture, requirements, implementation, integration and testing are executed successfully.
Key Responsibilities
- Works as a key part of the overall Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) group that is the core of the T3PI team.
- Supports integration and early testing of Space Vendor designs to meet system requirements to achieve overall mission needs while considering technical and schedule constraints.
- Ensures segment-level specifications are consistent with system-level requirements.
- Evaluates End-to-End system threads and functional behaviors between space and ground elements.
- Supports functional analysis, schedule analysis, and trade studies.
- Supports MBSE Cameo Model capture and review of requirements, CONOPS and interfaces between Space and Ground Segments.
- Supports system-level risk assessments.
- Works with space vehicle contractors to ensure designs meet requirements and interfaces across segments.
- Participates in coordination and Working Group meetings to address shortfalls, gaps, risks and addresses any required system waivers.
- Assists with planning and execution of system-level tests and the evaluation of segment-level test plans and execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 9+ years of experience in space or ground systems engineering, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or lead integration role.
- Proven experience managing system integration efforts across multiple contractors or mission partners.
- Strong understanding of space ground segments, including mission operations centers, data transport networks, and cybersecurity practices.
- Solid familiarity with DoD and/or IC space and ground architectures.
- Experience developing and/or sustaining critical space systems for national security, preferably including space-to-ground integration.
- Experience with systems engineering involving the integration of complex multi-element systems, preferably Space-based remote sensing or communication Systems.

- Proficiency in using MBSE tools to include Cameo Systems Modeler.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to provide technical oversight to cross-functional technical teams.
- Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI
Desired Skills
- Master’s degree in a relevant technical field. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Familiarity with Agile program execution and rapid acquisition methods.
- Leadership and proven technical experience with interface management, MBSE, and system-of-systems engineering approaches.
Salary Range: The salary range for this role is $160,000 - $235,000. Please note that this range is a general guideline and can vary. Trusted Space, LLC considers several factors when extending an offer including, but not limited to: scope, location, position responsibilities, education/training, key skills and business considerations.
