As a Front End Team Lead, you will:

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of front-end engineers — set the bar for code quality architecture, and engineering culture.
  • Own the team’s technical roadmap. Define how the front-end evolves, what gets refactored, and what gets built from scratch.
  • Conduct code reviews that teach, not just gatekeep. Raise the skill level of the entire team over time.
  • Run 1:1s, participate in hiring, and help engineers grow in their careers.
  • Drive AI adoption across the team — train engineers on AI coding assistants, establish best practices for prompt-driven development, and make AI fluency a core part of how the team operates.
  • Evaluate and measure AI tool usage as part of team performance — ensure every engineer is actively leveraging the AI tools and frameworks ProfitSolv provides (internal GPTs, Claude, Copilot, IDE plugins) to accelerate their output and quality.
  • Architect and build performant, accessible UI in React and Next.js — this is a hands-on role, not just a management title.
  • Partner with UX designers to translate designs into responsive, polished interfaces that users love.
  • Drive the modernization of legacy front-end code into a clean, component-based architecture with a proper design system.
  • Own front-end performance — identify bottlenecks, set performance budgets, and hold the line.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools daily in your own coding workflow — code generation, refactoring, test scaffolding, debugging — and model this for the team.
  • Collaborate with and contribute to .NET back-end services when features require full-stack delivery.
  • Work with back-end engineers to design clean API contracts that serve the front-end well.
  • Understand the full request lifecycle — you don’t need to be a .NET expert, but you should be comfortable reading and contributing to the code.
  • Work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, back-end engineers, and QA to ship features end-to-end.
  • Translate business requirements into technical plans with clear scope, milestones, an trade-offs.
  • Be the connective tissue between your team and the rest of engineering — kee stakeholders informed, unblock your people, and advocate for quality.
  • Socialize AI-driven productivity wins and workflows with the broader engineering organization — share what’s working and help raise the bar company-wide.
  • Own sprint planning and work allocation — balance feature delivery, tech debt, an modernization work.
  • Spot risks early and course-correct before they become blockers.
  • Keep documentation current so knowledge isn’t trapped in any one person’s head.

This position follows established policies and procedures to keep confidential information secure.

A great fit for this position has:

  • 7+ years of professional front-end engineering experience, with deep expertise in React.
  • Strong Next.js experience preferred, but equivalent framework depth (Remix, Gatsby, etc.) is welcome.
  •  Advanced TypeScript and modern JavaScript — you write code that other engineers can read, extend, and trust.
  • Architectural judgment: you’ve made real decisions about state management (Redux Zustand, Context), component design, build tooling, and monorepo structure.
  • Proven experience incrementally modernizing legacy front-end codebases — you’ve done this before and have opinions about how to do it well.
  • Familiarity with enterprise component libraries (MUI, Radix UI, Shadcn) and data-heavy UI (AG Grid or similar).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategies (unit, integration, e2e), and front-end build systems.
  • 5+ years of technical leadership experience — you’ve led a team, mentored engineers and owned delivery outcomes. Not just “senior IC who helped juniors sometimes.”
  • Strong communication skills — you can explain a complex technical trade-off to a product manager and a junior engineer with equal clarity.
  • Demonstrated AI-augmented development skills — you actively use tools like GitHubCopilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar AI coding assistants in your daily workflow, and can show how they’ve made you faster and more effective.
  • Experience driving AI tool adoption on a team — you’ve trained, motivated, or coach engineers to integrate AI into their development process, not just used it yourself.
  • Familiarity with the ProfitSolv AI tooling ecosystem is a plus: internal GPTs, Claud integrations, and relevant IDE plugins. At minimum, you should be eager to learn and champion whatever we put in front of you.

Additional Desirable Qualifications

  •  .NET / C# familiarity — you can navigate the back-end codebase and make target changes when needed.
  • Experience with multi-brand or white-label theming systems and managing mixed styling approaches (Tailwind, CSS-in-JS, SCSS).
  • Experience working in large-scale monorepos (Nx, Turborepo, Lerna, Yarn Workspaces).
  • Comfort with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and DevOps workflows.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Ability to handle stress
  • Ability to meet work deadlines
