POSITION SUMMARY:

The TEAL Junior Boiler Technician preforms detailed scheduled predictive maintenance on the company owned and operated systems throughout the country. The Jr. Technician will work on the TEAL Predictive Maintenance Team, driving 99.99 % uptime of our state-of-the-art hot water systems and attribute that success to our outstanding technicians.

 

ESSESTIAL RESPONSIBLIES:

  • Performs routine boiler and pump preventive maintenance program
  • Analysis of proprietary Teal operating system, electrical systems and Raypak controls
  • Proficient in evaluating, diagnosis, and adjustments of static, dynamic and manifold natural gas/propane pressures
  • Provides CO2/NOx combustion analysis on boilers and make corrective adjustments or repairs
  • Reads blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Meets physical requirements of the job, to include: bending, lifting heavy equipment & parts and working in confined spaces
  • Installs, repairs, services, tests and troubleshoots equipment
  • Follows and maintains company processes with understanding of Company's products and systems
  • Maintains a good driving record
  • Work occasional overtime, weekends or holiday; travel out of town, when required
  • Conduct On-Call Rotation duties as scheduled
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School graduate or GED required
  • Factory Raypak training preferred
  • Journeyman Licensed Plumber is a plus
  • Working knowledge of boilers, pumps and plumbing strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized and efficient time management
  • Ability to work independently without much supervision
