JOB MISSION
The Electrical Fabricator is responsible for safely building quality skids on time and under budget.  They also increase the efficiency and profitability of the fabrication department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Fabricate, assemble, and integrate components as part of skid assemblies using drawings, schematics, best practice, and feedback from other departments.
  • Test and inspect devices to insure proper fit, form, and function.   Troubleshoot issues to root cause and make corrections to parts and processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering, construction managers, and other departments on technical issues on a project-by-project basis to ensure expectations are met.
  • Perform all crimping, stripping, and other termination functions required using manufacturer instructions, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, work instructions, schematics, engineering drawings, and parts lists.
  • Perform verifications of work performed by using testing machines, GO/NOGO gauges, multi-meters, and other approved test equipment, and documenting results in a clear, precise, and complete manner.
  • Self-monitor work progress against benchmarks and achieve on time delivery.
  • Assist with development of process and equipment improvements.
  • Use computer-based systems to track time, request inventory, and receive instructions.
  • Work safely, accurately, and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • One-year certificate from college or technical school in fabrication, manufacturing, or another related field, preferred.
  • 1-3 years of related experience and/or training in electrical assembly, required.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Strong team player and communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot individually & as part of a team.
  • Basic computer & email capabilities
  • Dependable and growth minded.
