Houston, TX

The Position:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for being the first point of contact for customers.  This role requires a friendly, professional voice on the phone when answering a variety of service calls. This individual will front a variety of service calls from our customers, must be able to direct calls to the right departments appropriately and efficiently, and will also perform data entry and quoting activities.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide quotes to customers and place order entries in a timely manner.
  • Educate customers on sales process, products, and services to create sales opportunities.
  • Respond to client concerns and find immediate solutions or escalate to the appropriate party.
  • Communicate order status with clients and serve as an information conduit between the client and the company.
  • Prepare and analyze customer order status reports.
  • Escalate issues to Operations Manager as needed.
  • Provide customers and sales team with order confirmation, status, updates, schedules, and customer support.
  • Develop and manage relationships with existing clients to culminate in profitable business relationships.
  • Fields, manages, and communicates to customer inquiry both inbound / outbound.
  • Acquire and communicate pre-established information required for estimating and service inquiries.
  • Submit boiler service requests and agreements to Contractor Support.
  • Coordinate logistics with warehouse and drop shipments.
  • Remedy any issues with initial orders for customers, such as discounts, specials, new locations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service or related field is required.
  • Experience using Acumatica (ERP) and Microsoft Office is preferred.
