Tasks Unlimited Building Services is currently looking for a full-time Janitorial Supervisor. Primary duties will be to manage the janitorial services for an individual contracts and to act as the point person for customers, employees, and other personnel at the assigned contract. You are responsible for a single location -- no travel and no weekends. Day hours, Monday-Friday only! Pay is up to $27.50 per hour.

Must have enhanced driver's license, REAL ID, or passport and pass a U.S. federal background check.

A. Janitorial Supervisor is responsible for the effective operation at part or all of a Tasks Unlimited Building Services job site. This individual performs contract management and other related duties. A Janitorial Supervisor is accountable to the Manager responsible for their employment job site. This is a non-exempt position.

II. Duties and Responsibilities

*A. Responsible for at least six contract management functions:

1. Quality control.

2. Production management.

3. Records management.

4. Inventory management.

5. Equipment maintenance and repair.

6. Safety compliance.

7. Skill instruction.

8. Fiscal management.

9. Human resources management


B. Communicates with other staff and various publics.

*1. Keeps Manager of job site informed.

*2. Consults with case coordinators regarding crew members as appropriate.

*3. Interprets, explains, and defends company policy and procedures to assigned crew members.


C. Performs other duties as assigned.


III. Requirements

A. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Janitorial Supervisor; or completion of the appropriate TUBS training and apprenticeship.

B. Ability to pass a DOD, DOC, Homeland Security and/or State/County background check, depending on assigned location.

C. Ability to relate well to employees, co-workers, customers, and people in the community.

D. Basic verbal and written communication skills.

E. Ability to set priorities, problem solve and follow through on own initiative.

F. Willingness to work as part of a team, and ability to use supervision appropriately.

G. Ability to exercise good judgment and common sense in a wide variety of situations.
