About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team and lead the charge in growing our Managed Transportation services. In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and closing deals with shippers who can benefit from our end-to-end transportation management solutions. You’ll be a key contributor to the growth and success of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the managed transportation sector.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Conduct discovery calls and needs assessments to understand prospective clients' logistics pain points and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to decision-makers.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service level agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, pricing, and implementation) to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the transportation industry, market trends, and competitors.
- Utilize CRM systems to manage leads, track activities, and generate reports.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or 3PL/4PL services.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales.
- Strong knowledge of managed transportation services, including TMS, routing, carrier management, and freight optimization.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
