Wilbur Hot Springs, is looking for a qualified individual to join our team as Stewardship Coordinator. This is a critical role which consists of a wide variety of mostly outdoor tasks to support the implementation of our many Land Stewardship initiatives.
The Stewardship Coordinator is the main point of contact for most stewardship activities, including soil hydration, invasive species mitigation, wildfire mitigation, native species propagation, vegetation tending, trail construction and maintenance, leading work-trade groups and much more.
This is a resident, full-time position; staff housing and full benefits are provided. The ideal candidate is conditioned for rigorous physical work, resourceful, resilient, able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, eager for experiential learning, nature oriented, computer literate, with a positive outlook and can-do approach.

Requirements:
- California Naturalist Certification or equivalent combination of education or experience
- Two years hands-on experience in a land stewardship role, or educational equivalent
- Ability to lead work teams of all experience levels
- Resilient - able to overcome setbacks and challenges
- Resourceful - able to learn on the fly and figure things out
- Computer literate in use of e-mail, google docs, memos, spreadsheets, etc
- Team-Oriented, positive, can-do approach
- Dependable and dedicated
- Available to work weekends and holidays
Wilbur Hot Springs, located off Hwy 20 midway between Williams and Clearlake, is a traditional hot springs resort featuring an ancient geothermal spring, geyser, soaking and swimming pools and a 1560 acre nature preserve.
