Visual Arts Teacher
We are currently seeking a full-time Visual Arts teacher to begin in fall 2026. The position involves teaching in both the Upper and Lower School, covering topics including drawing, painting, printmaking, digital media, sculpture and clay. Experience teaching the AP Art and Design curriculum and art history is preferable. The position also includes ancillary duties as assigned. The ideal candidate would be a teaching artist with five years of teaching experience, a Bachelor's degree, and a preference for working with students in grades 5-12. A commitment to community and inclusion work, an understanding of the importance of teacher engagement in community life, and an interest in using a variety of pedagogical approaches in the classroom are essential. The ability to use technology effectively in the teaching and learning process is also important.
