Part-time Upper School English Teacher (Fall 2026)

We are currently seeking a part-time Upper School English teacher for the fall semester of the 2026-27 school year. The position will mostly likely involve teaching one or two sections of 9th or 11th grade English and conferencing individually with students on their writing. Strong candidates will have a degree in literature and at least two years of experience teaching high school English. A commitment to community and inclusion work, an understanding of the importance of teacher engagement in community life, and an interest in using a variety of pedagogical approaches in the classroom are essential. The ability to use technology effectively in the teaching and learning process is also important. Benefits included as of start date: medical, dental, vision and 403 b retirement plan. Salaries are based on step scale $27,214- $107,189.25.
