Position Summary
The Financial Reporting System Accountant plays a key role in the design, development, maintenance, and support of the Company's financial planning and reporting software packages. This role participates in upgrade and implementation projects related to the OneStream, SAP, Master Data Management (MDM), Automic (UC4), and Informatica software packages. The Accountant is also responsible for the administration, maintenance, master data, security, and end user support related to these software packages. Additionally, this role prepares and submits a variety of regulatory and adhoc reports and assists in financial report design.
Job Duties/Essential Functions
  • Designs, develops, implements, and tests the OneStream, SAP, MDM, UC4, and Informatica interfaces.
  • Configures and develops programs, dashboards, and reports.
  • Compiles and loads periodic SAP financial data.
  • Performs global security role provisioning and maintenance.
  • Maintains, administers, and troubleshoots financial systems.
  • Maintains the Company’s global chart of accounts and entities and performs metadata maintenance for general ledger and reporting hierarchies.
  • Assists with special projects and a variety of ad hoc financial statement analysis.
Experience, skills, education & licenses/certifications
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in accounting, finance, MIS or relevant work experience. 
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and planning concepts and processes. 
  • Excellent computer skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working with large amounts of data. 
  • Strong technical expertise, including using macros and SQL and VB coding. 
  • Demonstrates ability to work well under pressure in a stressful and deadline driven environment; strives for excellence while maintaining a positive, professional attitude. 
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and find solutions as issues arise. 
  • Scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of the business, including evenings and weekends.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
