ROLE
WHC LLC is currently hiring skilled craft and field personnel to support construction and welding activities within our Pipeline Sector. We are seeking qualified individuals across multiple disciplines to support welding, civil, mechanical, and heavy equipment operations associated with large-scale energy infrastructure projects. 
 
These roles play an important part in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of field construction activities while working closely with project leadership to meet safety, quality, and schedule objectives.

These roles will support daily construction operations and work closely with project leadership to ensure safety, quality, and schedule objectives are met.
 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform construction activities within civil, mechanical, and welding scopes supporting pipeline projects 
  • Support installation, assembly, and maintenance of project infrastructure 
  • Follow project drawings, specifications, and construction plans 
  • Maintain compliance with WHC safety standards and site safety requirements 
  • Assist with material handling, equipment operation, and general site preparation 
  • Collaborate with supervisors, foremen, and project teams to maintain project schedules 
  • Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project standards 
  • For leadership roles such as General Foreman, responsibilities may also include supervising field crews, coordinating daily work activities, monitoring productivity, communicating progress, and supporting workforce planning. 
 
For welding roles, applicants should have experience with SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, or semi-automatic welding processes. Welding applicants should be qualified and prepared to pass an API or ASME welding test, as applicable. 
 
Note: In addition to these duties personnel are required to carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required in order to support the objectives of the company.
 
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
  • Ability to work in a construction field environment 
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork 
  • Ability to follow directions and work effectively within a crew 
  • Relevant certifications or trade experience may be required depending on the role 
Experience
  • Prior experience in civil, mechanical, welding, or construction trades is preferred. 
  • Experience working on pipeline, gathering systems, industrial, or infrastructure construction projects is strongly preferred. 
Skills and Knowledge
  • Industrial safety knowledge is preferred. 
  • Ability to lift loads between 15 and 40 lbs. 
  • Ability to work outdoors for a minimum of 10 hours per day. 
  • Certified equipment operators are preferred. 
 
WORKING CONDITIONS
Travel to project sites is required. This position is field-based and may involve work in remote project locations. The typical work schedule consists of six 10-hour days per week; however, schedules may vary based on project needs.
