Responsibilities:
- Develop software drivers
- Develop software applications
- Process digital signals
- Develop Client/server applications
- Analyze and implement Legacy and current processor technology
- Analyze and implement Operating systems, architectures, and interfaces
- Develop code using Assembly and high-level programming languages
- Reverse engineer software/code
- Develop embedded software
- Communicate status of work
- Peer review software
- Moderate software peer reviews
Required Skills:
- USB protocol and driver experience
- Programming experience for embedded Linux both user-space and kernel-mode software in C
- Low-level development experience – e.g. interrupt handlers, device drivers, controlling peripherals, reading/writing Flash memory, etc.
- Development experience with Linux on ARM-based platforms
- Experience with OpenWRT/LEDE distribution
- Python experience
- Automated testing, unit test level
Desired Skills:
- Experience with atuomake/autoconf suite is a plus
- Experience supporting patches for software development projects is a plus
- Experience with the creation of Linux packages e.g. OpenWRT/LEDE or RPM package for Fedora/Red Hat
Education/Expereience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM/ technical field along with 5+ years of experience in software engineering OR
Master's degree in Computer Science or related STEM / technical field and 3+ years of experience in software engineering.
Clearance:
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
