POSITION SUMMARY

Reports to Material and Logistic Manager, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for the team organization, the management and control of the warehouse, and the inventory accuracy.

The Warehouse Manager has 5 main missions:
  1. Ensure the Safe operation of warehouse and the safety of all warehouse employees.
  2. Serve production and customers (Spare Parts department, sister companies…), Provide and maintain agreed service levels for all internal customers thru KPI creation and execution.
  3. Ensure accuracy of the transactions in the ERP for any parts (Inbound, outbound, adjustments, transfers…) and the accuracy of the inventory,
  4. Drive the team with clear goals for cleanliness & efficient and reliable processes.
  5. Develop and Drive Continuous improvement activities for all warehouse activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the warehouse team in respect to safety protocols and regulations
  • Manage inbound team from receiving to put away
  • Manage outbound team for production and customer delivery on time and accurately
  • Manage the Yard teamManage internal material logistics personal.
  • Manage the “slow movers” team,
  • Ensure cycle counts are performed as per group rules (DMS 1003)
  • Make sure all transactions of parts from and to warehouse are performed accurately by the team  members and other departments (if any) in ERP
  • Organize Returns to Stock (RTS) of the unused material
  • Analyze all Non-Cconformance Reports (NCR) related to Warehouse and optimize / improve process as needed
  • Emphasize continuous improvement activities within Warehouse including the implementation of Visual FactoryPut in place efficient processes to improve continuously the team performances,
  • Promote all tools for productivity like WMS,
  • Respect the TLD Group standards for cleanliness, in the warehouse and in the outside backyard storage
  • Release reports  Create and Execute actions to achieve agreed  KPI’s for warehouse and Key Pperformance Indicators (KPI) related to warehouse,
  • Present KPI and other activities to Executive Management monthly.
  • Performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Cross-train the team members to keep back up capacity.
  • Perform the reviews of the employees as per TLD calendar and make sure the warehouse’s team-leaders are doing them on time for the associates
  • CIT:  eEstablish standards and procedures for continuous improvement and ISO certification.
  • Maintain the currency???  with respect to technical and supervisory skills by attending training classes, special technical and administration courses; seminars, exhibits and trade shows as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge and experience operating sit-down/stand-up forklift operation and pallet jack.
  • Ability to execute on KPI’s
  • Certified to operate power industrial trucks per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178 prior to operation preferred.
  • Experience working in a Union facility
  • Experience with Disciplinary actions
EDUCATION:
  • High School diploma  or equivalent.
