Associated Bag is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk for our Milwaukee location (next to the airport). Prepares cash, checks, and charges for posting, including advance cash orders and payments and/or credits received through the banking system.  Reconciles and settles all credit card transactions through credit card software programs.  Posts transactions, confirms accuracy and balances daily bank deposits.  Processes customer correspondence and telephone inquiries.  Assists Customer Service and Sales Representatives in resolving routine account issues. Manually closes orders not billed through the shipping system. Determines freight charges on shipments using PC online tools. Processes all adjustments to customer accounts, including additional billings, voids, credits, and rebills, and documents computer programs with appropriate messaging regarding status. 

The successful candidate must be a self-starter with a high school degree or equivalent with additional course work and 1-2 years accounts receivable experience.  Familiarity with PC spreadsheet applications and data entry skills.  Must be accurate and detail oriented.
