Assisted Transportation provides specialized transportation operating minivans, full-sized vans and shuttle buses. Vehicles are equipped with GPS technology, security cameras and communication devices connecting the driver and dispatcher.

Our Medical drivers transport elderly and disabled passengers to medical appointments and other outings. Ambulatory passengers are transported in minivans.  Wheelchair passengers are transported in either converted minivans or full size wheelchair lift vans.  We do provide some non-emergency stretcher transportation for passengers needing to travel by stretcher.  Training is provided.

The safety of the passenger, our drivers and the general public is our number one priority.  We look for drivers with an excellent driving record who enjoy helping people.

The Medical division operates Monday thru Saturday and by appointment on Sunday. Drivers have flexibility regarding the days of the week they work, but we need a lot of flexibility regarding the start and end times each day.  This can be as early as 4 or 5am, or as late as 12noon.  The average start time is about 8am.

Drivers start and end their day at their assigned depot. The vans have 2-way FM radios or cell phones to communicate with the dispatcher.  The driver notifies the dispatcher of their status on each trip. Drivers generally do not wait with the client at their appointment, but rather are directed to pick-up another client.  The same driver may not always return the same client.
