Position Description:
March Inc./Assisted Transportation just celebrated being in business for 30-years in 2022 and is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to manage our HR Department.   Our company provides non-emergency medical transportation to medical appointments and student transportation to general education students and students with special needs, to and from school, job sites, and community enrichment programs.

The Human Resources Coordinator manages the HR Department consisting of three (3) HR employees, responsible for the recruitment/hiring process, employee information management, performance management, employee relations and other key responsibilities.  HR experience is a plus; however, this is a great opportunity for someone with management/supervisory experience, who would like to work in HR.  We are willing to train the right person.

Reports To:  Vice President of Operations

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five (5) years of management/supervisory experience
  • Previous experience in Human Resources is a plus, but not required.  Training provided
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and detail minded skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Proven ability to lead, supervise, coach, and can work independently and in group settings
  • Sustained ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite or related software with advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, and communication tools

Primary Job Functions:
  • Manages the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, disciplinary, and termination process
  • Manages employee files, employee database, and employee requirements
  • Employee performance management
  • Manages employee relations
  • Manages department development
  • Manages compliance with company, local, state, and federal guidelines/regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 About The Position:
 
  • Salary Range - $52,000-$64,000
  • Full-Time Exempt
  • This is an in-person position
  • Monday-Friday
  • Health, Dental, Vision insurance offered
  • Generous Vacation and Sick Leave package
  • Holiday day pay for observed holidays
  • Based off I-635 in Kansas, just North of I-35 and Metcalf
