Job summary:
The integrated project manager is responsible for the daily planning, implementation, tracking and analysis of projects produced for the firm and its clients across various disciplines including; creative, video, marketing and content. The IPM is the common thread on all projects ensuring budgets, timelines, strategic objectives are kept in focus, and goals are met. The IPM may have some client contact but is mainly an internal facing role.

Responsibilities include:
  • Oversee and manage the department project lists and resource management
  • Creates budgets, schedules and maintains staff resourcing by allocating hours while ensuring projects remain in scope
  • Evaluates the firm’s project management services; recommends areas where improvement is needed; and develops plans for achieving that improvement
  • Facilitates communication between all team members
  • Protects creative teams’ dedicated time for ideation
  • Protect strategic teams’ dedicated time for planning
  • Alerts group of potential obstacles and provides possible solutions
  • Is the main point person while the job is in creative development
  • Routes all strategic plans, concepts, layouts, comps, scripts, storyboards, copy decks, presentation materials for executive team and account prior to client presentation
  • Ensures documents are done prior to project start, including signed SOW, creative brief and budget document
  • Participates in firm cross-training exercises and internal professional development retreats and programs
  • Embraces the firm’s culture and contributes to a fun, supportive, productive and energetic workplace
  • Works diligently and ethically toward the achievement of the firm’s mission and vision statement

Job requirements:
  • Minimum B.S. in Communications, Management  or equal demonstrated experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in project management
  • Must have extensive interactive media experience, including strategy development, video production management, video marketing and promotion, and client service experience
  • A thorough understanding of creative and strategic work and project management software systems
  • Keen sense of entrepreneurship
  • An appreciation for branding, marketing and good communications
