Manager, Culture and Storytelling

The manager, culture and storytelling advances the culture of (add)ventures while sharing the story of who we are, what we do and how we do it. You will be the lead on strategy and implementation to find and “speak to”  our target customers and also share the great things we accomplish to keep our culture strong.

You’ll be the lead on figuring out the best strategy to share our stories to potential clients and implementing the strategy. Your success will be measured by social media metrics, good vibes within our team, and inquiries from our target customer.

Reports to: president/ceo and executive vice president

Responsibilities:
  • Finding and telling the story in the everyday things we do and take for granted
  • Manage and edit of our internal e-newsletter
  • Main author of our “case studies” to share the story of how our work is impactful, innovative and something future clients need us to do for them.
  • Manage our social strategy, community management and digital advertising
  • Project management and organizational skills to manage the process from start to finish, including working with creatives to find the right image and supporting visual assets
  • Write engaging copy for marketing e-newsletters
  • Own the content for addventures.com, with frequent updates and fresh ideas
  • Lead and support (add)LOVE with coordinating community events, sponsorships, internships, shadow days and how (add)LOVE conveys our culture
  • Be the keeper of our “brand training” to share with future (add)venturists our founding stories and our growth trajectory
  • Manage submissions for award contests, “best of” lists and other business listings
  • Ghost-write thought leadership and blog posts for publishing in trade and professional publications
  • Be aware of trending stories for our industry, and how we can be part of the conversation.
  • Stay on trend for fun giveaways, (add)wear and (add)gear that earn style points.
  • Track your success to show progress and analyze opportunities to improve.
Skills:
  • Excellent writing ability

  • Experience in working on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proficient to expert in: MS Office and Google products
  • 5 -7 years of experience in writing, marketing or public relations
  • Experience in creative industry a plus
