Marketing Manager (Digital and Social Focus)

Our East Providence office is actively searching for a Marketing Manager with a special focus on digital and social channels. This position will be our in-house digital and social media marketing guru - responsible for advising, developing and managing our client’s digital and social marketing strategies both as stand-alone campaigns and in partnership with our cross-discipline teams. As a subject matter expert, this role should be proficient in various social and digital channels and lead the effort to integrate this expertise in all client partner marketing efforts. Additionally, this role will support our Marketing Strategists on all campaigns.

This position is a hybrid work arrangement: Tuesday - Thursday in the East Providence Office, Monday and Friday work from home, unless otherwise needed by the business.

Responsibilities include:
  • Develop both stand-alone digital campaign strategies and the seamless implementation of strategy within cross-discipline campaigns, acting as the digital campaign manager on each project.

  • Serve as the team SME on SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media and display advertising in order to develop and deploy marketing strategies, plans and campaigns from start to finish. 
  • Develop proposals and statements of work in partnership with the strategist, including budgets, project timelines and descriptions of marketing services.
  • In partnership with our content, design, digital, media and video teams, provide the strategic overview to develop value-driven and engaging content for landing pages, social media, video, and all other forms of traditional, social and digital advertising guiding best practices and requirements while ensuring the team is working on timeline and budget.
  • Responsible for the measurement and reporting of all digital and social marketing campaigns including analyzing results to identify trends, insights and opportunities to optimize spend and performance in partnership with our paid media partners.
  • Conduct content audits and marketplace and competitive research as a basis for the campaign strategy to inform target audience analysis, journey mapping, customer personas, communication frameworks and the creative and strategic briefs.
  • Continually monitor emerging technologies, platforms and strategies to keep campaigns, channels and content fresh and exciting and share out best practices with the broader team. Includes, but is not limited to Meta, Google, YouTube, Spotify, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn and SEO/SEM and emerging media and technologies.
  • Understands and excels in providing digital and social marketing solutions across client sales cycles (from brand awareness to direct conversions)
  • Ability to navigate working with clients of all sizes, from a small startup or local organization to a large, global corporations
  • Assist with new and existing business development efforts including, but not limited to proposal scoping, estimating, response writing, presentations and pitches
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, external vendors and internal teams so client expectations are exceeded.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Advertising, Marketing or similar fields of study
  • 4+ years of demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Agency and/or consulting experience preferred, but not required
  • Proficiency in using native platform marketing and advertising tools (including but not limited to, Google Ads/Digital Marketing suite, Meta for Business, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
  • Familiarity with CRMs such as Salesforce, Pardot and HubSpot
  • Stellar writing and editing skills
  • Excellent verbal and customer service skills
  • Basic understanding of principles of design with respect to advertising, with an appreciation for branding, user research, marketing, and visual design.
