Digital Strategist
(add)ventures is looking for a digital-first strategist who is adept in understanding how brands win customer loyalty through connected experiences. In this unique hybrid role you’ll be known as a go-to-person for digital strategy, digital media, and paid social expertise. Every day will bring an interesting and new challenge to the job, but here are a few things you can expect to be accountable for consistently:

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Connect thinking across touchpoints brand, creative, content and media 
  • Uncover unique insights and directions that help define a vision and roadmap
  • Guide the entire ideation process and support efforts all the way through to delivery
  • Work closely with the extended agency to develop strategic channel/media approaches that routinely impress and excite clients
  • Develop close working relationships with digital vendors, as well as managing cross-departmental issues/questions regarding digital execution
  • Analyze campaign results to highlight key learnings – and translating those learnings into concise, actionable recommendations so that we can push our work to be even more outstanding

Job requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of strategy and planning experience in relevant digital creative agencies – relevant consulting and brand-side experience also considered
  • Experience buying through Facebook, Google AdWords, TikTok, Twitter, Snapchat and other DSPs
  • 1-2 years of experience working with digital media networks like Google, Meta, and Amazon
  • Experience driving eCommerce revenue growth and online lead generation with paid media
  • Understanding of Google Shopping Campaigns, Facebook Catalog Manager, and Shopify
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint with ability to build compelling reports detailing campaign successes, ROI and learnings.
  • Experience with DoubleClick, Google Analytics, Datorama, Linkfire, Shareablee
  • Strong familiarity with the digital environment – you know the digital world by heart and you keep pulse with the rapid changes happening within it – and a clear, solid understanding of the media planning and buying landscape/process
  • Knowledge and implementation of end-to-end customer experience strategies, including customer research, strategy, vision & design
  • An artful ability to translate client objectives into exceptional media strategies – and communicate them clearly
  • Solid understanding of general advertising and direct marketing performance metrics, and a firm grasp on  media research tools and how and when to most effectively use them
  • Working knowledge of various Media tools (such as Nielsen, Comscore, Bionic, Quantcast, ICI, etc.)
  • Experience working in paid social including hands on activation within social platforms
  • Willingness to travel as needed – you’re open to new places, new faces and new ideas

This position is a hybrid office / work from home arrangement with a minimum of three days per week at our HQ in Rhode Island.
