Dishwasher / Steward Ideal candidates must be able to follow instructions and adhere to hotel specifications and standards in operating the dishwashing machine for proper cleaning of designated restaurant and kitchen wares, such as pots, pans, plates, utensils and other miscellaneous equipment. Will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining a variety of kitchen equipment; including, dishwashing, kitchen, cafeteria, compactor, and storage areas. Must be willing to complete other special cleaning projects as assigned.This is an entry level position. You must have a great personality, can-do attitude, willingness to learn and meet the basic qualifications. We will teach you the rest! Must be able to operate effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly, ensure smooth service operations and quality service. Schedule shift if from 3pm to closing.
Ideal candidates will possess prior experience in a high-volume restaurant, preferably one that services a fine dining restaurant. Must be able to remain calm under pressure, be consistent in presentation, take criticism well and understand the demands of a cleaning schedule.
High school or equivalent education required.
Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
Related hospitality experience is preferred but we will train the right candidate.
Candidate must have flexible work schedule as well and work holidays.
Must meet the minimum age requirements to work in an alcohol and food service operation.
