Diesel Mechanic (Houston, TX)

 

Diagnose and repair company and owner operator heavy duty trucks and trailers under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities: 

1. Preventative maintenance and repairs.

2. Satellite communication system installation and repair.

3. Parts distribution and recycling.

4. 24/7 phone support to drivers

5. DOT Inspections.

6. Air and hydraulic brake maintenance and repair.

7. Electrical troubleshooting
   
   (Other duties as assigned.)

Required Competencies: 

1. Experience in the field or technical school.

2. Valid driver’s license.

3. Be able to work outside 40% of the time.

4. Ability to work with minimal supervision.

5. Must have own tools.

Desired Competencies: 

1. Electrical troubleshooting experience.

2. Air and hydraulic brake experience.

3. Transportation experience preferred but not required.

4. ASE certification

5. CDL

Our equipment includes: Flats, stretch flats, single drop stretch, double drop stretch, multiple axle removable goose necks and 13 axle double drop RGN’s. In addition to our fleet of flat and specialized trailers we also maintain a substantial fleet of van trailers. All of our vans are 53’ air-ride trailers equipped with logistics posts and e-track.
