The Sales Support Analyst is responsible for providing analytical and administrative support to the sales team.  This role involves maintaining sales data, preparing reports, and assisting with various salles processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.  As a key member of the sales team, the Sales Support Analyst is charged with promoting the Buchanan Values of Determination, Integrity, Safety, and Community.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day
  • Maintain and update sales databases with accurate and timely information
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc sales reports and dashboards
  • Analyze sales and pricing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Assist in preparation of sales presentations
  • Support sales team with administrative tasks
  • Identify inefficiencies in sales processes and recommend improvements
  • Assist with carrier procurement
  • Assist VP of Sales and Director of Sales with special projects
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years work experience preferred
  • Transportation industry experience preferred
  • High school degree or equivalent preferred
