Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.   BS degree in business related field or equivalent work experience highly preferred. Medical terminology course work preferred. CNA preferred.

Experience:
Two years in a position of similar scope and responsibility including front office experience, process improvement, teambuilding, project participation, staff /procedure scheduling and payroll. Operating room experience highly preferred.

Computer literacy in Microsoft office products with depth in Excel spreadsheets, formulas and report writing.

Must possess guest relations and interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate and negotiate with a wide variety of staff in several departments, physicians’ vendors, and other contact external to the hospital. Hospital experience preferred.

Self-motivated, demonstrated system analysis and design skills and independent thinking.  Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, working independently and as part of a team in a collaborative manner. Organization skills required; Project management skills preferred. Demonstrated flexibility and self-direction through continuous assessment of priorities.  Ability to adapt quickly to changes in assignments, remain calm & appropriate in all situations. Must also be able to resolve operational problems and participate in the revision or development of departmental policies and procedures.
