CPP-Syracuse is a manufacturer of premium investment castings for the Air Craft and Industrial Gas Turbine industry. We have over 275 employees currently working in our Chittenango, NY facility.
We are currently looking for an experienced individual for our Patch & Wrap department working on the weekend shift Friday, Saturday & Sunday (5am - 5pm).
Patch & Wrap Helper – This position the successful candidate to perform duties related to the preparation of shells prior to the casting process. The job consists of the cleaning, patching and wrapping of shells prior to pour. The candidate will need to be able to utilize templates to cut ceramic fiber blanket, will need to be able to use a boroscope to inspect molds for cracked cores, debris, etc. The position is also responsible for repairing molds internally and externally, be able to follow written instruction and perform all instructions per customer requirements. The successful candidate will also be able to operate the burnout oven, handle hot molds and support continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and have the ability to maintain attention to detail and multitask.
