Job Overview:

Perform required duties relating to the interpretation of X-Ray film
Major Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for interpretation of Radiographic film.
  • Ability to set up and calibrate equipment such as X ray unit, processor, high intensity viewer and densitometer.
  • Ability to conduct tests, interpret, evaluate and document data in accordance with codes, standards and other contractual documents.
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities through the use of tools such as Systematic Problem Solving, Process Management, Value Stream Mapping, etc.
  • Responsible for adherence to all safety policies, practices and procedures.
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Experience: 80 hours formal training in radiographic inspection. 1200 hours of on-the–job training
  • Ability to pass X-Ray Level II tests
  • Certifications/Licenses: Radiographic Level 2 Certification
    Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: LANGUAGE SKILLS - Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and Internal Method Sheets (IMS). Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers and leadership. Ability to write routine reports. REASONING ABILITY - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to calculate figures proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. General knowledge of statistical techniques. Ability to use and interpret conventional measuring instruments
