ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  1. Arrange for all clean china, glass, silverware, and serving pieces needed as directed by the Head Chef and the Sous Chefs
  2. Maintain general cleanliness of all kitchen areas
  3. Removal of trash & recycling to the proper disposal area
  4. Sweep and mop the floors in the kitchen, dish station and room service area
  5. Assists in back dock organization and trash & waste receptacle treatment
  6. Steam cleans and/or hoses out all garbage and recycle cans
  7. Pressure washes all kitchen mats at the end of the evening shift
  8. Complies with all sanitation, food handling, and safety requirements
  9. Scrub pots and pans
  10. Clean the outside docks, kitchen entry, and downstairs in the break area
  11. Clean kitchen equipment including the stoves and hoods
  12. Maintain the detergent in the dishwashing machine
  13. Fill soap and hand towel dispensers daily
  14. Prep food for the kitchen as needed
ESSENTIAL WORK SKILLS:
  1. Ability to work and maintain a clean work environment
  2. Ability to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours a day
  3. Able to lift up to 30 lbs
  4. Must be willing to follow direction from managers
  5. Willing to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude
  6. Ability to work independently as well as a team player
  7. Must work in a timely and efficient manner
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
  1. Ability to speak English is preferable
  2. Previous experience in a kitchen is desirable
  3. Must have Food Handler Certificate within 30 days of hire
Pay Rate: $24.55 per hour
