About the role

The Brand + Proposal Lead plays a key supporting role in the development of proposal content, pursuit strategies, and brand alignment within ETRO’s business development pipeline. This role collaborates cross-functionally with Preconstruction, Estimating, and Operations to develop compelling, high-quality submissions and ensure brand consistency across all client-facing content.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in deadline-driven environments. With a balance of creative and strategic thinking, the Brand + Proposals Lead is instrumental in showcasing ETRO’s value proposition through well-executed proposals and presentations.

What you'll do

Proposal Development & Coordination
  • Coordinate and produce project pursuit documents including RFPs, RFQs, EOIs, and design-build proposals.
  • Support proposal timelines, assign content tasks, and manage internal content reviews.
  • Create and edit written content, ensuring clarity, consistency, and brand alignment.
  • Maintain and update proposal boilerplate materials, staff resumes, and project sheets.

Brand Stewardship & Visual Consistency
  • Ensure all proposals, presentations, and communications reflect ETRO’s brand standards and tone.
  • Collaborate with the Brand + Proposals Manager to improve templates and design elements.
  • Support the development of marketing and communications collateral as needed.

Business Development Support
  • Monitor bid platforms and report opportunities to the Brand + Proposals Manager.
  • Assist in preparing client presentations, pitch decks, and award submissions.
  • Organize and maintain CRM entries in Airtable related to pursuits and lead tracking.

Cross-Team Collaboration
  • Liaise with Estimating, Preconstruction, and Operations teams to gather technical and project-specific input.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for design, print, or delivery services as needed.


What you bring
  • Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related discipline.
  • 2–4 years of experience in proposals, marketing, or communications—construction or architecture industry preferred.
  • Familiarity with RFP/RFQ processes, pursuit cycles, and proposal management tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign strongly preferred), and CRM tools (Airtable or similar).
  • Strong copywriting, editing, and layout coordination skills.
  • Core Skills: Writing, formatting, time management, organization, visual communication.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
