CNC Operator

Job Summary
Produce machined parts through setting up and operation of CNC machines while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities of a CNC Operator:
  • Set-up and operate CNC vertical mills and 4 axis live tooling lathes
  • Read blue prints, schematics, diagrams, drawings, and job orders
  • Load and unload parts
  • Detect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance conditions
  • Perform assigned preventative maintenance
  • Comply with all quality policies, specifications and instructions
  • Maintain a neat work area
Qualification and Skills of a CNC Operator:
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to use micrometers, calipers or various measuring tools
  • Capable of lifting up but not limited to 50lbs
  • Capable of standing and walking for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to work well independently and as a team
  • Must be self-starter able to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Must possess a sense of urgency and accountability
  • Minimum 2 years of machining experience in manufacturing environment preferred
  • Must be willing to wear a face covering due to COVID-19 pandemic
Job Detail:
Full time with benefit or part time without benefits
Day shift 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM
