Catholic Charities is one of the largest, oldest, and most comprehensive nonprofit human services organizations in Northern California, annually reaching more than 60,000 vulnerable individuals of all faiths in San Francisco, San Mateo, and Marin Counties.  The regular hours are 4 nights per week, 10:30pm-8:30am.
  • Must be able to stay awake and alert all night (10:30pm-8:30am)

  • Must possess and maintain a valid California Driver License
  • Must attend paid mandatory training sessions within first 90 days of employment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Sciences preferred, BUT NOT REQUIRED

Some of the duties required of the position include:
  • Provide care and supervision to residents in a way that is both compassionate and consistent with the values of the agency
  • Develop, encourage, and model participation in established campus and house schedules, routines & programs
  • Creatively implement, participate in, and make use of the philosophy, opportunities, and facilities of the ongoing educational, mental health, recreational, and extracurricular programs designed to meet client needs
  • Transport and supervise residents to, from and during various outings, locations, appointments, home visits, & community-based activities in agency vehicles
  • Provide documentation such as charting in resident logs, critical incident reports, communication logs, & milieu reports
  • Perform general housekeeping and food preparation duties in keeping with the goal of maintaining a home-like environment for youth in care
