The Gemini 3 Group is seeking applicants for the position of  Equipment Specialist III to support a valued Marine Corps client in Albany, GA. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities for this position may include any of the following:
  • Provide integrated support services to Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM), including cataloging of parts, development of Marine Corps Equipment Instructions, Stocklists and Technical Manuals
  • Review and update Marine Corps I-Type documents, provisioning data and documentation as well as request Publication Control Numbers (PCN) and National Stock Numbers (NSN)
  • Provide fielding support of systems between MARCORSYSCOM and Government/Commercial vendor sites, including site logistics management and coordination of shipping and delivery activities
  • Responsible for the inspection, verification, shipping and distribution of equipment during Logistics Acceptance Inspection events at the equipment manufacturer’s facility
  • Initial Issue Provisioning (IIP) management within Special Storage Projects resulting in management of assets
  • Act as a liaison between Marines in the field and equipment manufacturers to obtain price quotes for open purchase
  • Provide research and input to system sustainment and lifecycle support of Principle End Items (PEI’s) and Secondary Repairable (SECREPS) for systems. Including technical analysis, fleet user assistance, loading provisioning data into related systems and sub systems.
  • Participate in writing and review of statements of work, systems requirement documents, prime item development specifications, test evaluation master plans, configuration management plans, acceptance test procedures, technical directives, modification statement of requirements, and other required documentation.
  • Conduct initial cataloging and maintain maintenance data to include reviewing and validating LMI and Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP) from the OEM.
  • Prepare a Statement of Work for Inspection and Repair Only-As Necessary (IROAN) of Principle End Items (PEI) and Secondary Repairable (SDR). 
  • Monitor technical publication websites for obsolete and missing publications and load appropriate documents to correct discrepancies.
  • Monitor readiness of the system using GGC-MC and other applications and research the causes of readiness problems, document any trends, and make recommendations to improve readiness rates.
  • Make recommendations to resolve technical and logistical problems received from Operational Forces, DLA catalogers, LOGCOM item managers and other sources.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in an Equipment Specialist (preferred) or Communications/ Electronics Maintainer role to include 5 years experience supporting/maintaining Marine Corps systems and equipment
  • Advanced Military Field & Depot Level of Maintenance or civilian equivalent (10+ years experience in ES role or comm/elec maintainer and supporting USMC systems equivalent may be substituted)
  • DAU Acquisitions 101 and Logistics 101
  • TFSMS certification
