Job Summary/Purpose:
G3G is seeking an Operational Energy (OE) Capability Developer who will be responsible for supporting the integration of operational energy concepts, requirements, and technologies into Army doctrine, training, and capability development activities.

Essential Responsibilities/Functions:
  • Assist in planning the integration and assessing of proposed and approved doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, facilities, and policy (DOTMLPF-P) analysis, implications, and recommendations for OE implications that enables or impacts supportability, interoperability, and informs decisions for modernization.
  • Conduct analysis and recommend changes and courses of action for individual or collective modernization initiatives relevant to OE and sustainment impacts.
  • Assist in the development and integration of sustainment concepts and analysis and conduct analysis to determine support impacts for potential requirement changes for U.S. Army modernization priorities.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) supporting Army demand reduction efforts, promotion of energy flexibility to enhance maneuver, future power and distribution initiatives, development of energy efficient capabilities, sprint teams,
  • and DoD Energy community and stakeholder events.
  • Participate in meetings, conferences, seminars, briefings, Rehearsal of Concept (RoC) drills, experiments, exercises, integrated product teams (IPT), working groups (WG), Council of Colonels (CoC), conference calls, secure video teleconferences (SVTCs), video teleconferences (VTCs) and other events as required to accomplish the tasks in this contract.
  • Work with Government personnel and external organizations to analyze, interpret, and substantiate OE.
  • Provide OE analysis and sustainment implications for concepts of support.
  • Develop, review, recommend, and analyze Energy Key Performance Parameters, Energy Supportability Analysis, Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, other program logistic products, and CFT program documents (e.g. Memorandums for Directed Requirements, Urgent Materiel Release Orders, Performance Specifications, test event data, capability engineering analysis, and other informational documents).
  • Support planning sessions, conduct data collection, and analyze for energy implications to inform modernization decisions.
  • Prepare and submit information papers, white papers, briefings, reports, spreadsheets, and executive summaries (EXUMs) in support of Army OE priorities.
  • Generate briefings and graphics in support of analytic tasks. 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to independently organize and carry out complex military research, review, and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in writing and editing logical, detailed, and analytical reports that support planning and decision making.
  • Ability to prepare and present information in appropriate form for different audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Ability to perform basic to intermediate-level graphics generation and technical document preparation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, to include Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to create effective collaborations among various levels of staff and work in a team environment.

Required Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Two or more years of relevant experience in energy science and technology efforts supporting the development, analysis, and concept of use.
  • Five or more years of experience in a combination of one (1) or more of the following technical areas:
    • Writing or reviewing materiel or information systems capability requirements documents.
    • Logistics operations in a tactical environment.
    • Operational energy in tactical operations and future concepts.
    • Logistics experience at the Theater, Corps, Division, and Brigade level or U.S. Army Joint, and Multinational operations or Strategic levels.
    • Operational and tactical levels of war.
    • Joint doctrine.
    • North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) doctrine.
    • Multi-Domain Operations (MDO).
    • Army Universal Task List.
    • Universal Joint Task List.
  • Experience in the creation and editing of multiple documents using the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) process is preferred. 
  • Active SECRET Clearance.
