The Gemini 3 Group is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Marine Corps’ vision, strategy, mission, and goals within Program Manager Applications (PM APPS) to deliver applications efficiently and effectively to the Warfighter and leverage new technologies.

Job Summary/Purpose:
The Gemini 3 Group is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Marine Corps’ vision, strategy, mission, and goals within Program Manager Applications (PM APPS) to deliver applications efficiently and effectively to the Warfighter and leverage new technologies.
Essential Responsibilities/Functions:
- Provide system engineering support and advice for team integration supporting PM APPS portfolio of systems across the full spectrum of the software development process.
- Prepare detailed specifications for programs, assists in the design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of new software and enhancements of existing applications.
- Formulate/define specifications for complex operating software programming applications or modify/maintain complex existing applications using engineering releases and utilities.
- Interface with all aspects of the team to work system engineering issues and actions, providing expertise and direction in the development or modification of existing or new capabilities.
- Identify system requirements and work with other engineers and staff to oversee system design, development, integration, and product verification testing.
- Assist in configuration management process/documentation for PM APPS portfolio of systems.
- Interface with PM APPS Systems Engineers and vendors to ensure requirements are met and performance levels are achieved.
- Support testing and test, providing subject matter expertise and technical support for developmental tests, operational tests, and acceptance tests.
- Recommend and update Test and Evaluation (T&E) artifacts (e.g., plans, cases, test procedures, test reports, and charts) and determines criteria for test success.
- Recommend the development and maintenance of the PM APPS T&E Plan and T&E metrics.
- Provide a review of technical documentation in the Technical Review Data Package (TRDP) and provide results feedback for SETR and TRR events via CRM or RFA to the program engineers.
- Provide Acceptance Criteria feedback recommendations for programs using Agile methodologies.
- Record test results and test incident reports in the Government Acceptance Test (GAT) Workbook and prepare the GAT report.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including SharePoint and project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Visio.
- Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations.
- Familiar with both traditional software acquisition and agile software acquisition methodologies.
- DODAF experience preferred
- Minimum 8 years in development & sustainment of IT systems, and application development within datacenters or cloud environments.
- Bachelors in Technical Field (i.e. Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology)
