This position creates, develops and manages the social media presence of the association and its foundation.

Essential Functions of the Position Include, but Are Not Limited To:
  • Create social media campaigns through collaboration with HAI internal and external stakeholders
  • Create and manage HAI’s social media calendar
  • Develop and implement social media strategies that align with the overall marketing and communication goals of the association
  • Create engaging content appropriate for all social media platforms
  • Build relationships and create social media strategies with external industry contacts and partners
  • Select appropriate search engine optimization tools to leverage social media initiatives 
  • Analyze current industry trends and events, and engage online audiences as appropriate
  • Evaluate and maximize the success of HAI’s social media campaigns
  • Develop solutions that continue to grow our social media presence
  • Continue to advance the association’s strategies to stay current with social media trends and tools
  • Other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications for the Position Include:
  • Three or more years of experience in a social media-focused position
  • Proven ability to successfully create and grow an organization’s social media presence
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Experience with social media management tools
  • Previous association or not-for-profit experience preferred
  • Exposure to the helicopter or aviation industry a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally and provide a high level of customer service
  • Passion for accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Strong organization and time-management skills
  • Highly motivated; able to work independently and in a team environment
